Job Title: CNC machinist for the mould making industry

We offer multi-cavity rubber mould tooling design, manufacture, prototype part manufacturing and tool repair services.

Position: CNC Machine Setter/ Operator

Location: Peterborough

Job Type: Full-time

Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities:

-Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.

-Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machine settings and setup requirements.

-Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper functioning and adherence to quality standards.

-Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and conformance to customer requirements.

-Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.

-Follow safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

-Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet production targets.

Requirements:

-Experience with CNC Machines or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

-Understanding of technical drawings.

-Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship.

-Solid problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

-Collaborate with engineers and designers to review and optimise machining processes for improved efficiency and productivity.

-Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

-Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

-Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Education and Certification:

-Vocational training or certification in CNC machining or related field preferred.

-Time Served in a Manufacturing Environment
